Never much liked Baloffs voice, but its pretty decent for modern thrash, easily better than nu-Exodus as well.

Agreed. It was also seven years ago.

Since then they have made three good but not spectacular-in-any-way albums.

As for Hatriot, digging the song, despising the band name.

well it's not like you can come up with a name that's good this deep into the game. Pretty much every good metal band name is taken.

Not every good name for a metal band is taken, that's ridiculous to say. Not every metal band has to have hate or moon or blood or fire or death in the name. You can call it anything you want.
