Simple as that. This band was one of the most unique and original bands to come out of the thrash metal scene. Let us talk about which aspect of their art we prefered and which album is their best. |

Oh god, what a choice. I love a lot of their albums, but have to go with Nothingface as my ultimate favourite. It's just perfect. |

Wow! You really need to listen to the first 5 albums! The first two are thrash metal with a punk feel, the next two are Voivod's progression into tech/prog thrash and Nothingface is some weird proto-prog metal. Tribal Convictions (from Dimension Hatröss) Experiment (same album) Astronomy Domine (Pink Floyd's cover from Nothingface) The Unknown Knows (from Nothingface too) As for the best album, I have a hard time between Dimension Hatröss and Nothingface...

Out of the first 4 , i'd say War and Pain, because it's so raw and intense;Killing Technology would come in second position.However, i haven't heard the rest of their discography. |
