Best Swedish black metal band? |

Diabolical Masquerade aren't really black metal but are fun to listen to. Funeral Mist, Arckanum and Sacramentum are all decent. Probably Shining are the best IMO. (I don't care for Marduk, Watain, Dark Funeral or Dissection) |

Yeah, I never really cared for Dissection either... |

Watain and Shining easily. Bathory too but borderline in the genre, no? |

I haven't heard Shining as of yet, but I have a feeling I'll be amazed when I hear them. |

Dissection are the best IMO. |

Definitely Funeral Mist for me. Watain and Shining make the top three. Other bands that deserve praise are Arckanum, Silencer, Dissection, Vinterland adn last but not the least, Marduk. |

I can't see Mist's 2 albums really topping all Bathory, Shining and Watain have done. Marantha is great but not brilliant anyways. Silencer is pretty cool but I've never been able to get beyond the novelty aspect of it all. |

Norwegian BM>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Swedish BM Yep. I like Dissection, but don't see why they're the best/worst thing ever. Everyone's so polarised... |

I deleted all of my music and will only listen to select songs on youtube now for a long time. However I will slowly collect choice albums over the years. I used to listen to metal all day and I still could but listening only is just a waste of time you know? I have to practice drums. |

Interesting list. I agree more than disagree but I'd put Ukraine second with France, Germany and Finland all battling for third. |
