In my opinion they are a relatively accessible brutal death band, they've been touring a lot lately so I was wondering if any of you have heard or seen them yet. What are your thoughts about their newest album? |

I just bought their album today and listened to a few tracks on the way home. I thought this was their debut but it's their fourth album ![]() I was pretty impressed from the first few tracks. Reminded me of Defeated Sanity's newest release, but with more slam breakdowns and a cleaner production. Soeaking of which, the production on Chapters of Repugnance is sick! ![]() They are coming to town on Sept. 28, and I'll probably go. |

You have good taste my friend, personally I found the new Defeated Sanity to be a minor step backward. But for the most part, it was a decent album |

If I go to their show, I'm definitely gonna pick up some of their older stuff. |

Pathology is okay, saw them in SD when I lived there. Their newest is good from what I heard, sounded like some Devourment influence had crept in abit. I need to listen to the whole thing. Defeated Sanity is another good band, a personally enjoy the new album more than the last, but both are solid albums. The cover art is awesome. When I'm in the mood for slam though, I usually look to other bands for my fix. Cerebral Bore from Scotland is pretty awesome, I enjoy the production and riffgasms while the snare is nice and high in the mix with a good tone. ![]() |

![]() I wish I could say the same for Defeated's new album, personally I found they tuned down the chaos from the prior album. Did you see Pathology with Destroyer 666 or Nile, unless I got the tours mixed up. |
