I'm not much into these newer retro thrash bands these days, but I just heard "Executioner" and I was actually impressed. The riffing is fluid just as the newer Warbringer was, and they did this all while still sounding slightly catchy. Has anyone here heard this bands material and if so what do you think?

I've got both Executioner albums. By Mantic Ritual and Meltdown, really no difference between the two albums just a better sound quality and 1 new song. As for the music itself, pretty good but nothing new. Definitely one of my more favourite new thrash bands. And they put on a good live show.

I'd say, check out the rest of the album as it's pretty cool.

I definitely like some of the new Thrash bands, specifically Evile, Toxic Holocaust, and Warbringer. I'll have to give this a chance, especially since someone who's not crazy about new Thrash is giving it light.
