Post subject:  Best Drudkh member side project
I own only 1 Drudkh album (but know them well) and have yet to listen to a Lucifugum album I picked up in San Francisco (which, if you're there, check out Amoeba Records in Haight & Ashbury. It's amazing) and I know nothing of Astrofaes, and little of Hate Forest or Blood of Kingu. I have been hunting relentlessly for a copy of Purity by HF but have had no luck.

Anyone know what and who to get a few albums from this group from???

Anyway Hate Forest is definitely the best among them. If you can't find purity get Battlefields or Nietzscheism. They are great too.

Yeah. I'd hesitate to call Hate Forest a side-project, though - Blood Of Kingu fits that description better. Astrofaes and Lucifugum have some good stuff, but take time to work their magic.

So

Drudkh = Hate Forest (melodic folksiness vs primal roar of nature)

Blood Of Kingu (esoteric darkness)

>

Astrofaes / Lucifugum (blerk metalll!)

I've only heard Lucifugum out of all those and they are pretty good.
