A Blaze In The Northern Sky. My first Darkthrone and the one I listen more.

I was listening to them all recently, and came to the surprising conclusion that Under a Funeral Moon is by FAR the best.

I voted for Under A Funeral Moon. As an in-between album, imo it has the best of both sides of their sound.

Fenriz was right when he said Blaze was just death metal riffs in a black metal style. Summer of the Diabolical Holocaust is also one of the best song titles of all time.

Transylanian Hunger, closely followed by A Blaze....

I've always preferred Panzerfaust over Under a Funeral Moon, though.

Transilvanian hunger without a doubt.. nothing even comes close to that spine tingling opening riff of the titletrack and the sheer amount of riffs in all of the songs. The album is truly Darkthrone's finest hour

A Blaze In The Northern Sky is my personal favourite, simply for that bit in Kathaarian Life Code when Nocturno C goes "bleheheh, tis the true face of eeevil". That and the awesome Celtic Frosty riffing.

All three are brilliant, though - I didn't give Under A Funeral Moon classic status for nothing in me review. And Tranny Hunger is, of course, amazing - my introduction to proper Black Metal, I can still remember how frigging amazing an experience it was on the first listen.

I'm not the biggest fan of Darkthrone, but it'd definitely be TH. Though my favorite album by them is Soulside Journey.

TH for me. Too hypnotic and gripping to be beaten by the other 2.

A Blaze...

But yeah, I think Panzerfaust should actually make it a classic four.

As the death metal was completed in 1991, tried to dissenting views of dissonance is a well-established ideals of death, and this became the first pieces of the genre. While the first album, Journey Seoul Side from Darkthrone is clearly Within the genre death metal, somewhere near the other Nordic classic Entombed, Dismember and Therion, the road to its development was to combine the distribution of the rigid structuralism of death metal is a nihilistic and yet melodic sound and rhythm, through the integration of elements of music listeners normally handled, but was not used in a stripped-down, post-hardcore death metal genre.
