One of the most epic-sounding progressive black metal bands ever, and yet nobody I know seems to have heard of them. They've only got a three-song demo out thus far, but are currently working on a studio release, which should be awesome, if the song I've linked you to is of any indication. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uuSvaVz5Vuw |

They have a cool sound that I could see making an awesome album but I basically never listen to the EP |

Those clean vocals are pretty bad. Other than that it's cool. |

I'm that way with all EPs, honestly. Their briskness, regardless of the running time, renders them as the least listened-to of all the albums I own. |

Yeah same now that I think of it. Especially when the band doesn't have any longer releases. I'm biased towards an album and need a full one to really sell me on a band. |

Salome's is one EP which I love listening to on a consistent basis. Kinda voids the EP category because it is around forty minutes. |

This sounds pretty damn awesome, cheers for the find Octavarius. But this is hardly black metal, no? |

But this is hardly black metal, no? I imagine black metal would sound quite different without the 'tremolo landscapes' and the screechy vox. But yeah, there's definitely a lot more prog happening here than black metal. |
