Hahaha your response is awesome!!What's even worse is I didn't add alot cause I was lazy.Godgory deserve mad props(lulz) and so many more, but alas.Sorry if it comes off as derailing the thread topic, but I think since they are on the same lines of evil old-school sounding metal of death Graveyard's newest deserves mention and high praise.Swano took care of production and the group is from Spain of all places, but One With The Dead is freaking awesome!!!! :dio:

Its great to see bands continuing the old ways in our times,I'd love to see all these great bands live.

"Wombbath" is a great name because it looks so close to "Wombat".

Yeah, Funebrarum is very nice. :dio:

There are a lot of bands playing old school death metal in the right way!
The best part is that the production is better nowdays, something that always bothered me about oldschool bands.

Totally dude! Sometimes I find myself in the mood for a more classic sounding production, but I agree. Some hidden gems exist though with great sounding albums even by todays standards, very listenable. Ghost in particular has a great album for the time with amazing solos and leads, though its to be expected since they're polish. I dont know what it is but that country can shred to hell and back(not playing favorites mind you). Lost Soul's new cd has some stellar leads as well, really great stuff.

Thanks rio!!! :dio:
