Its a tough choice to be sure,I love these guys a ton. From their early works to the new stuff, its all good to me.I love Dave Suzuki's contributions especially.I prefer the vocals prior to Benton, but he doesn't bother me.I love the style these guys made for themselves, with the longer songs and repeated sections, which is funny cause I've seen some people bitch about it.In my eyes if there's a badass riff I want to hear it at least once more, which is the case in alot of music.

I'd have to say I'm torn right now between Forever Underground,Dechristianize & Icons of Evil.

Dechristianize has it moments like the titletrack but is ruined by pretentious song lengths and Benton can't sing to save his life and Gruslin shits on everything he's done in the band on Into cold Darkness. Check it out if you haven't and I'll have to get on listening to Forever underground

I have their discographia, including the compilation which is alright.I wouldn't say its pretentious to find one's sound, its just how Tony Lazaro has always rolled yo.Haha.I couldn't imagine Geist,Pensees Nocturnes, or Drudkh with typical short songwriting,it would kill the nature of the beast. But seriously ICD is a good album(listening right now),not my favorite but enjoyable.

Icons or Dechristianize. I was really big on these guys for awhile but it kinda faded away a few months after Icons was released. They're a good band, but I don't really have a desire to spin their stuff unless it comes up on my random playlist.

Dechristianize almost completely because it has less studio effects on the vox compared to Icons. Glen Benton has one of the best roars in death metal when he isn't loading it up with studio magic.
