does anyone know of death metal bands in the same vein as: newer Napalm death, or brutal death metal bands in the vein of Immolation?
I don't mean homosexual br00tal bands like cephalotripsy, guttural secrete, and waking the cadaver but the heavy brooding riffs immolaton creates.
thanks

Checked Ulcerate out? They're pretty brooding.

Now that i think of it more bands with heavy riffing and dark atmosphere:

Dead Congregation
Blasphemophagher
Ravager
Azarath

What they miss from Immolation and Incantation is the doomy feel. They are def more chaotic, but still worth checking out. Especially that Dead Congregation featuring members from Nocternity.
