the main stage fucking sucks. Why does slayer have to give support to all the shitty bands in existence?

Just saw this. CC and Behemoth together makes me excited. 30 minute sets, though, while fucking blowjob BFMV getting probably a 45 minute set is fucking stupid.

I've basically stopped caring about Slayer. Maybe Manson with Twiggy again will be better. I don't understand the appeal of BDM.

Scion Rock Fest needs to travel across the country. Best event I've heard of in years is in one fucking city for one day.

One way to sum up this thread: :lame:

There's no way Manson's going to be better than Slayer. COME ON!

Those are actually all bands I'd like seeing live. MM should be quite a show.

Based on my impressions of their fans, BDM doesn't seem worth listening to. Are they metalcore or melodic death? Good or bad? Either genre is know for being somewhat generic; are they not generic?

Other than Trivium, I'd really like to go to that, quite a good line up.

Slayer, Corpse, and Behemoth alone are worth the price of admission. The rest is just boring, chugga-chugga breakdown MTV2 crap.

Well, your problem is that you judged a band by its fans, and not by its music. They are more melodic death, though they do have metalcore elements. I'm not sure that I would call them generic, but I wouldn't call them overly unique either. I just think they are great at what they do. Worth a listen, definitely.

I don't care too much for genres, one thing is certain aside from Slayer being an already established metal staple the second stage is way better then the first stage.

Just because they're established doesn't mean that Behemoth won't show them up.
