| Post subject: | Acid Witch |
Has anyone heard of them? Their debut album, Witchtanic Hellucinations, is pretty cool so far. They play like some doom-laden death metal reminding me of a slower Immolation or Autopsy with some awesome psychedelic soloing. Haven't played it enough to be critical of it but so far so good. Edit: Yeah. This is really awesome. |

Yeah, I wrote a review of WH that I sent as an audition review to this very site. Maybe I could see if they mind me posting it as a proper review on monday, I don't know if they'd mind or not. It's a pretty good album with an original sound but also needed a bit more work IMO. Didn't really remind me of Immolation at all though... seemed more like stoner/doom with DM elemets. Glad someone brought these guys up though; worth listening to. |

I only heard one Immolation album so I may be off a little with that description. At the point which I wrote this, I only listened to first few tracks which emphasized the death vocals, the later tracks emphasize the stoner elements. |
