After listening to The Formation of Damnation I decided to give Low a spin. Pure awesomeness and as good or better than anything Metallica ever released. Anywho, I think this should be reviewed as a classic. I'd give it a score somewhere between 90 and 95.

Best songs: Low, Hail Mary, P.C., Dog Faced Gods, All I Could Bleed.

Chuck Billy is just a beast. He sounds like James Hetfield on steroids.

I dig Low, but I think people go a little overboard when talking about how heavy/brutal it is. It's basically a thrashy groove metal album with a death metal song, a power ballad, and two bizarre instrumentals tossed in.

My favorite song is probably Legions (In Hiding). Pretty much all the songs are very good though (except may be that Last Call outro, which kind of annoys me).

Low is the album that got me into Testament. I had never heard of them before but some dude online decided to give me a heads up back when I was like 15 and all I knew was Metallica. After hearing these guys I was blown away.

It's a great album, probably one of my favorites due to it being heard first. \m/ The guitars sound heavy as hell and I just love so many of the riffs on the album.
