Post subject:  Hit or Miss: Anthrax - Sound Of White Noise
May be this doesn't really belong in the thrash forum, since it's really more of a hard rock/heavy metal album. But what does everybody think of John Bush's debut (and Anthrax's "sell-out" album)?

Personally, I love this album. I think both this and Persistence Of Time would be tied as my two favorite Anthrax albums. Only, Packaged Rebellion (possibly my all-time favorite 'Thrax song), 1000 Points Of Hate (love that riff beginning at around the 2:53 mark), Black Lodge, Sodium Pentathol (probably my favorite next to Packaged Rebellion), This Is Not An Exit. All are awesome songs.

It's not a bad album, mark my words, but it misses the charm of Among The Living and State of Euphoria...
I think Belladonna is the true voice of Anthrax.

+1 , but I think Belladona & Neil Turbin are the voices of anthrax.

Heard the first track the other day and wasn't especially impressed. Perhaps if I'd have heard it back when I was getting into Metal I'd like it more, but I have a hard time with Anthrax at the best of times.

I won't mark it a miss, though, since I've not heard it.
