I'm not even a Cryptopsy fan, but as far as music goes this is the most retarded thing I've seen in years. At least Metallica has the balls to accept that most of their fans didn't like "St Anger"...

I didn't find Kataklysm all that bad. I like Prevail. But it's obvious there's a hint of mellowness and a probable sell out.

I've seen them live once and really only dug Whisper Supremacy and ... And Then You'll Beg so this isn't really heartbreaking to me as I lost interest in them when Lord Worm rejoined, and this whole situation regarding their latest album isn't helping to garner any interest.

I think it's real shit that a band would totally lash out at a part of their fan base. I mean I know the new album is hated and they definitely lost old fans, but to totally rip on the people who have been supporting you all along is pretty fucked.

I guess Cryptopsy is probably the biggest turn-around band to date. We all knew Metallica was going downhill, so was In Flames, but they did it gradually. Cryptopsy....WTF?!
