This is damn near impossible for me. I might have to pick one at random....

Alright, so I decided to pick Evile.

But for what it's worth, it was really difficult to pick just one. I could have just as easily picked 5 others.

Picked Municipal Waste, but only heard them and Evile and a couple of Gama Bomb tracks. I bet a lot of them sound very similar.

Would've voted for Municipal Waste if Dekapitator wasn't on the list.

Yeah, Zad, I guess a lot of them do sound pretty similar.

I've only heard one Avenger of Blood album (death brigade) and to my ears it's pretty damn generic.

But aside from that one, I'd say all the bands I listed here have just enough of their own flavour to be distinct from one another.

Oh, and off topic, can someone phonetically spell out for me how to pronounce "Evile"?
It's so godamn frustrating to love a band and not even know how to say their name!

Is it "ee-vyle", "eh-veel", or just evil, or what?

Dekapitator, although i've only heard about half of those

Ima go with Merciless Death. but Bywar are certainly awesome and so is Dekapitator. Municipal Waste also tickle my fancy.

If Dekapitator keeps it up, it may one day be them- but right now Bywar ist krieg and consistently thrashtastic.

I voted for Municipal Waste but I could have easily gone for Dekapitator.

My vote goes to Blood Tsunami, but it could have gone to Dekapitator, Bywar or Municipal waste.

(But my favourite retro-thrash band is spanish Angelus Apatrida )

Municipal Waste, and im sorry but what is this retro-thrash thing, is this now a new genre or something? if so its one of the most stupidiest things ive heard.

And am i the only one who thinks that most of those bands are fucking boring? Merciless Death?!? sure the first time i listened it was cool but seriously theyre nothing more than a garage band for me, thay have absolutely no fucking soul, havent heard the new one though but i doubt it will be that different.

Municipal Waste, Dekapitator and Bywar are excellent.

Retro-Thrash is not a genre... Just a way of expressing that he wanted to name only bands that did Thrash Metal like it was done in the 80's...

Municipal Waste are one of my favourite bands, so them. Followed closely by Evile who are fucking great.

Only heard Municipal Waste and Evile. Seems a bit weird to choose between them. MW play DRI/Cryptic Slaughter type stuff, while Evile sound like a cross between Metallica and Slayer.

I'll have to go with my fellow countrymen, Blood Tsunami.

I always expected Municipal Waste to get top votes, but it's nice to see some of the other bands getting some votes too. I was hoping it wasn't going to be a municipal waste landslide, hehe.

But a little surprised by this - not one vote for Warbringer? I was certain that their ultra aggressive style would really fly with this crowd. I for one think they're awesome, they might have just as easily gotten my vote instead of Evile.

Come on Merciless Death arent that bad.

Warbringer are awesome, I love the new album. I just like Merciless Death more. Same with Dekapitator and Bywar. Hell I like all the bands on that list. But those 3 are my favourites.

But I think Tankard is still thrashing just as good if not better than those bands. Just my opinion...

Yeah, I guess I just cut it off at a certain point. There could have been another 10 bands or more listed there!

And I love Merciless Death too. In fact, From the sounds of your "likes", i think we're gonna get along just fine.

I voted Warbringer, Municipal Waste close second, and then Dekapitator, but i haven't checked out the others...
