I got new releases for you my extreme friends

Kataklysm - Prevail
Stormlord - Mare Nostrum
Keep of Kalessin - Kolossus
My Dying Bride - An Ode to Woe
Moonsorrow - Tulymyrsky (EP)
Unleashed - Hammer Batallion

Been hearing the new Stormlord, it sounds fucking amazing. A great blend of Symphonic, Black, Power and even some proggy riffs. The first tune, Mare Nostrum is EPIC! Get it asap!

Also the Moonsorrow ep is highly recommended, Moonsorrow can't do wrong. I love everything they've made.

I know that the majority of the MR community are against downloading but this is my only way to get this for now:sad:, coz the albums arrive at my city a very long time after they're released... But you can rest in piece, I buy the albums that really deserve it.

Anyway, I hope this info would be useful to some of you.
Hail!

New Stormlord is indeed awesome. My girlfriend's been going crazy trying to find t-shirts.

I'll be seeing KoK live later this year at H.I.T.S and their new album Kolossus kicks ass, it's almost as good as Armada i think. I kinda hope they go further into the symphonic realm whilst keeping that aggresive sound.

Nu-uh, the vocals on Kolossus are often made of epic fail. The whole power-metal-vocal-lines-through-a-metal-throat are even worse than the silly flamenco guitars on Armada.

Silly? SILLY? That flamenco breakdown is one of the best moments in metal music.

Reallies? I wonder if a megaupload link could magically find it's
way into my inbox! Sometimes the intarwebs are so awesome
that they do such things for me!

New Kataklysm is disappointing. Haven't checked out the others though.

My laziness is leading me to second this.

Thanks for the heads up... Didn't even realize a new Stormlord was on the way. Appreciate it man.

Don't tell me these things... I've been a fan since I heard Shadows and Dust ages ago. Is it really that disappointing?

Is not THAT bad, but isn't as good as Shadows and Dust...

I'm not expecting it to be...

Did they at least represent some more northern hyperblast on this album? I really missed it greatly on the last album In The Arms of Devastation.

Either way I'm looking forward to seeing them on the Summer Slaughter tour they're doing with some other solid acts.

The fact is that i liked Kataklysm cause it was ultra-fast and melodic, it's just not like that anymore...
Try it if you are a fan though it's possible that you'd still like it.

There's a review up for the new Unleashed. Isn't that MDB a live album? Heard a track from it from the new Terrorizer cd, not bad.

Never got into KoK despite having their first couple of albums, should try them and Armada out. And I MUST listen to my Moonsorrow!

The new MDB is a live album indeed, I forgot to mention that, thx. And the review of Hammer Batallion is a very good one, fair score, I would rate it a bit lower, around 80-85, and outstanding album nevertheless.

Prevail by Kataklysm is brutal as ever. It's great. I saw Keep of Kalessin live in my hometown of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. They were pretty good.
