It's pretty meh. I actually liked The Art of Dying, but I think this KS is worse than TAoD. There is some cool moments though, but not enough to get me excted about these guys anymore.

Any thoughts?

Worse how? Riffs, songs? I didn't think Art Dying was that mega, I rly should get some older stuff from this band.

Go for the Ultra-Violence album. It's undeniably the band's crowning achievement, and they never came close to even sniffing the quality of that album ever again. It's a must have for any Thrash fans collection.

Frolic Through the Park is OK, but I got bored with it after a while. Act III has some good ideas, but those are mixed in with some truly awful moments. The Art of Dying was solid.

I'll probably pick this new one up out of a used bin eventually. Not interested in paying full price for it though.

I've been telling him to get that album for months now. He buys like 50 cds a month, but has yet to get The Ultra-Violence. He is a crazy man.

Not that I've downloaded it or anything, but when the only place I can find it for sale is Amazon marketplace at > £40, then I get very tempted, you know? Will post thought when the planets align and I finally get to listen to it...

There's a box set from a few years ago that contains Ultra-Violence, Frolic, and a bunch of unreleased stuff. I suspect that's going to be far more easy to acquire than the single album, and Frolic's at least worth a listen .

EDIT: It's called "Archives and Artifacts" and also has a DVD.

about the new album, it sounds more like act III (the album the band is actually most proud of, but most fans {like me} don't consider it their best.). Give me the ultra-violence, classic.
