What do you guys think of Demigod (the Finnish band, not the Behemoth album). On almost every top death metal albums list you see Slumber of Sullen Eyes their debut album. Last year their third album, Let Chaos Prevail was released but noone talked about it and noone reviewd it. Recently I was listening to their debut, and I liked it pretty much. I think it sounds like the first two Amorphis albums

Yes, I've heard of the band but i've never listened to it.

I always mix these guys up with Aeon, for some reason. Must be the 'named-after-another-band's-awesome-album' syndrome.

A great band. But i think Slumber of Sullen Eyes is slightly overrated though.

I also think so. I listened to it a few times. I mean it's good and all but it isn't the best finnish death metal album ever or something like that. Maybe it's because we listened to it years after it's release and we've heard so many better deah metal bands after them that it doesn't sound that good to us. ???

i can never find behemoths demigod, even though i found demonica....still waiting to see if the whole "only 10000 copies made" things was true, but i digress

ive never heard of the band demigod, but anythings worth a listen once eh? except for chav genres and pop rock, bloody hell their like brain polluntants...

are demigod any good? what do they sound like? (crosses fingers and hopes for emperor or amon amarth)

They play old school death metal with a spacey touch, the atmosphere they create is quite unique.

They only have one album and I don't think it can be found anywhere.

I haven't but the reviews didnt sound too promising. Ill check it out eventually though..
