Hey, im posting in these forums to let you guys know that I, and a close friend of mine are starting a black metal project. Basically I compose the songs, riffs, structure/arrangement and write the lyrics, and do vocals. My friend is in charge of harmonies, underlying riffs, and bass guitar. My influences include: Emperor (due to their amazing compositional skills, riffery, and overall atmosphere) , Deathspell Omega (unique, unorthodox, and borderline technical approach to black metal, with disturbing atmosphere), Taake (because of Hoest's thrashy, yet melodic approach to black metal), and Noenum (must I really say more?).
I need to know a pretty good free web hosting service for hosting songs around the 4 to 5 MB range, so I link you guys, to maybe take a listen to some work in progress.
Anyways, I wondering if you guys would mind hearing a possible 3 track demo that im going to be recording very soon. Should be ready early February. This is be a personal work in the form of black metal and I would like to hear some opinions when im through. Ive yet to come up with a name. Thanks.
