Judas Jiscariot(in-joke with my friends. The "I" and the "J" in the logo look the same) - Distant in Solitary Night.

hehe, cool. I really go on a nostalgia-trip every time I hear that heartbeat-intro!

It IS great! But that damn BM drummer from Marduk always get me worn down with those damn monotonous drums!
It's not that bad for a few listens. But after a whole album of it, pretty much all the time (or at least it feels like that), I just get fed up.

The Haunted - Everlasting

Why am I pretty much the only guy ever to like One Kill Wonder better than their earlier stuff? (Haven't been able to listen to the new one)
The album kind of looses its focus abit after the instrumental "Demon Eyes", and doesn't seem to catch in the same way after that song. But what a first half of the album!

Through The Discipline - Buried On The Surface

i haven't heard much from them but this one song is kick ass.
kinds like hardocre, thrash and melodic death (and normal death too). on paper it looks like it has been done before but i honestly thnik they are more than just that.

Life In A Burn Clinic - Iconoclastic Rage Disorder
Noise that burns into your skull and stays there for some reason. Up next Carcass Swan Song love the vocals on this one!

Excellent album; Vintersorg is one hell of a composer; his work on Borknagar is also great.

Savatage - Gutter Ballet

Maybe the best album they ever made. I remember the first time I heard this CD a long time ago. It delivered goosebumps allover, especially with the ballads "When the crowds are gone" and "Summer's Rain". Yes, you can call me a pussy, hahaha

To me personally this is a classic.

Just finnished:

Graveland - The Celtic Winter

Now playing:

Arcturus - The Sham Mirrors

There's not a band out there than comes close to what the dream team band Arcturus create; one of the most original bands to surface from the Black Metal scene ever; too bad that Garm left; I've always thought of him as a genious, and I love his vocals; let's see how Hægeland handles the vocals in future releases. As for now, let us enjoy this amazing album, not to mention all the previous ones as well.

Coming up next:

Hate Forest - Purity

I've really been enjoying this one.
