and you think Hirax is a good band ? :?

Wait... But Hirax is a good band. Laaz Rockit's not bad (I've only heard one album) but I'll take Hirax over them, but I don't really see the comparison.

you mean except the fact that they're both american thrash acts ? :?

Why would you? Well, some already said that they're boring... whatever. But I think Laaz Rockit are great! \m/ Though I only got 2 of their albums (those sons of bitches are hard to get :( ) and their home video plus 2 of their music videos on my 'puter :P \m/

Hmm, but lesser known thrash bands... Well at least Agent Steel, Helstar, Realm and Have Mercy (from the top of my head)...
Didn't really have time to read through the whole thread, but hopefully will sometime soon :)

Whiplash, anyone? Just listened to them for the first time yesterday, apparently they're from not too far away from me, but disbanded years ago.

I'm too lazy to go trough this thread, but has Nocturnal from Germany been mentioned yet? These lads rock! Listened to their split with Nunslaughter, and truly enjoyed theur side. I am definetly going to check out Arrival of the Carnivore sometime soon!

Arrival Of The Carnivore is a very good fun album, get their Thrash With The Devil EP too. UNHOLY THRASH METAL !

They sound too much like Destruction's Sentence Of Death era with some very obvious Sodom and Violent Force moments thrown in, but the songs are really good. All their releases i heard so far are very consistent with high quality songs.

i just downloaded a track off the 'site and it is absolutely killer, I didn't know many Japs would be into metal, I thought they were more into extreme industrial and stuff.

Japan is one of the bigger countries for metal, alot of mainstream metal bands release their albums first in Japan, and with special added bonus tracks etc. Gotta love the Japanese pressed cds, even the jewel cases are great.

Their underground scene doesnt seem to receive nearly as much attention as it should though..........
