I really think you should download it; I mean buy an album you'll probably don't like too much just because of a (fuckin' awesome) cover.

Astrofaes - The Eyes of the Beast

Guys, you have to check this (if you haven't already :twisted: :twisted: )

For those who haven't: This band features Thurios from Drudkh on guitars and vocals (aren't you already running to the closest shop??? :twisted: ) and Amorth on drums (haven't heard of him before).

You can make some parallels with Nokturnal Mortum, Burzum and Drudkh of course. Melodic, raw, epic... Damn, do you remember what you felt while you were listening to Autumn Aurora? The same thing here, but it's not just a junk copy, it has something from Drudkh, but the band keeps their own style/music and so you will have a feeling that it sounds somehow familiar, but thus totally different...

I'm playing their new album right now and I'm not impressed to be honest with you, probably their new stuff isn't as good as the old, but if it's like what I'm hearing now, I don't think it's very good.

I've only heard The Eyes of the Beast so I can't say if it's the same or not... But considering some frequent examples on the modern BM scene the new one maybe worser...

This rules, got it in my mail today and I had no idea what it would sound like. I added this as a replacement for Schattendasein's Zorngeborn, which wasn't in stock, because I read it had a member of Horna and Woods Of Infinity, and I don't regret it 8)
