Anyone else notice that whatever that face is it's TOTALLY STUPID? I mean what the fuck?

Anyway about the new album, I liked it instantly, which is something that never happened to me with opeth before. Kind of loses momentum with Burden, which is a directionless and pointless song, that is usually the problem with opeth for me.

Listening to the album for the first time now. Definitely better than GR, IMO. One of my favourite record of the year so far, for sure.

Yeah, i agree about the GR part, but i loved that album as well. However Watershed is indeed better. I'd say Watershed is one their best yet, together with Still Life, Morningrise and Blackwater Park IMO.

Yeah, their best since blackwater park, on first impressions. I think I'll need to see how it stands up after many more listens before I compare it to Morningrise, maybe my favourite album of all time.

Burden is awesome. Mikael's clean vocals have never sounded better and it's got a keyboard solo that i actually like.

I love Burden too....mostly...i really don't like the out-of-tune thing they did at the very end of it even if it was only supposed to be a joke :lame:
