i bought Striborg - Mysterious Semblance a long time ago.. pure shit, imo :lol: .. some boring ambient/black metal... or rather, very annoying ambient with black elements.

which album are you referring to?

Embittered Darkness. Its nothing too special, sort of ambient/black, but sounds more bm than the one you have heard. Download it, dont buy it, youll probably hate it :)

Have you heard of Infernum? Anyone heard the Farewell album?

hmm.. no, can't say i have.. are they from Australia too?

Have you heard Elysian Blaze - Beneath silent faces? It's another Australian band, which i like quite alot. This is some atmospheric, doomish black metal, or what ever!?.. the drums sound like a steamtrain but you'll get used to after a few spins. But it has some nice melodies as well... if you can't find it on dc++ or what ever, i'll upload it once i get home again around july

till then i won't be visiting these forums all that much

I just noticed there was an infernum cd at my local shop. Features Rob Darken, so it probably sucks :)

i havent heard much aussie shit at all for some reason, but ill check out Elysian Blaze.

Aussie BM (well, sort of BM) band im familiar with:

The Furor.

Not too great lol. However, if anyone liked that, check out Pathogen, who play a similar style but much better.
