Tyr - How far to Asgaard

Edit:
Has anybody heard this CD? Their follow-up (Eric the Red) should even be better, but this is already rather good!
Kinda strange, it's some sort of mix between doom metal and folk with some progressive elements and clean vocals.
I've read some reviews elsewhere that it's boring, but I do not agree.

I heard it,and is indeed a very good album,but yes Eric The Red is better.

A bit crap, Demanufacture and Archetype both seem better. Much better..

The mix sounded pretty terrible for starters, less harsh than usual. Also, the first song wasn't really anything special so perhaps I wasn't as receptive to the rest of it as I should have been.

The other thing that bugged me, though, was that he was using his voice a lot like he was on Digimortal, ie, low growl, high shout.. it sounded a little too stylized and sterilized to be that menacing.

I won't write it off completely until I've heard it again, though.
