Emperor--In the Nightside Eclipse

The first BM CD I've bought. Of course, I've heard some, but this is really my introduction...judging from the things you guys said in the thread about it, I think I'll like it.

Remember, it's all about the atmosphere. Personally, I prefer Anthems, but ITNE is their second best. There should be some bonus video of the band's early live shows on there too, assuming you got the remaster.

Anthems could be better with a different production. Call me old-fashioned, but i like to hear the guitars when i listen to metal.

How do you play the videos? I've got the remaster, and I can't work out how to do it.

Ordering stuff is great. Its like Christmas, but without all the rubbish that comes with Christmas (forced enjoyment, being with realtives you don't want to be with...)

Heh, yes. And it was my birthday last week, so it feels like late presents, even though I bought them myself.

Speaking of ordering, my copy of Bergtatt should arrive tomorrow. It'll be interesting to see how it measures up against Nattens Madrigal.

Bergtatt and NM are completely different in my opinion. The latter is much more uncomprimising, but the former is so much more pleasant to listen to.

RPs

Toxic Holocaust- Toxic Thrash Metal
DHG- Supervillian Outcast
