For the poll, RiB is better than MoP, altought MoP introduce me in metal... and Battery and Master are good songs... But RiB is better, a lot better, in all ways.

I don't see differences between MoP and RtL, except for the songs. The two are really similar, in my opinion, in voice, music, and production.

I prefer Megadeth to Metallica. They have better compositions (Mustaine), better guitar work (Friedman! Show me a guy who's better than him in the Thrash Metal genre), great sound, sharp as a razor...Great!

I agree Megadeth is 100 times better than Metallica.. But both bands are clearly going downhill, only metallica much faster than megadeth.

Yes, I agree. But The System Has Failed is something like 6,5/10 because it has soem classic moments. St.Anger isn't more than 1/10. Pure food for mallcore kids

Mmm, Megadeth get the nod over Metallica due to superior songwriting, but also because of their flawless musicianship. That being said, Ultra Boris' MoP review is hysterical jibba-jabba. It's really a great album, and thoroughly iconic for me, even though Hammett's solos aren't quite up to Slayer standards. (And nowhere near Friedman's, as someone's already pointed out).

Can I cast my vote for the these being the two most overrated albums in the history of metal?

I would rather ask

Kill em All or Show No Mercy, as those are the best efforts each respective band produced. Of course it goes to Show No Mercy, that album annihilates anything in it's path. Die by the Sword, Crionics, The Antichrist, all fantastic stuff, and those riffs own your soul.

Between the two, obviously Reign In Blood ... i agree both are overrated, compared to other 1986 releases.

and now for some Violence And Force...

Ultraboris' review on MoP is a crock of shit.

Agreed.

I prefer RiB, but if I had to quote them the difference would be about 5 points. Both good albums.

Both are very important albums because they are among my starting albums to metal but I'll vote for MoP.

Stop the stupid comments, if Metallica never released the black album and quit back then this album would be hailed as one of the best thrash albums ever. You guys aren't being objective.

Master Of Puppets is a very boring album, admit it.
