Most intriguing black/death/thrash vocalist

I like Lowe's voice more than Messiah's to be honest.

I find it a bit odd that mikael akerfeldt hasn't been mentioned yet. I guess its possible that some people don't enjoy Opeth musically, but you can't deny he has one of the best growls AND clean vocals in all of DM.

All of these vocalists are great but I think Dave Hunt is probably my favorite. It sounds like he is really hurting himself when he does his shrieking.

I'm surprised no mention of Travis Ryan, though Lord Worm is an obvious influence on him. His highs are incredible those nasally screeches and his lows and more gurgly than others, his lyrics are also well-done as well in my opinion.

I second Tardy, Hunt, Ihsahn, Varg, Arioch, Dolan, Benton, Barney, Blitz, Walkyier, Nergal, Van Drunen, Snake, Schuldiner and the guy in Anacrusis. I'd add Mille, Angelripper, Thomas Lindberg from ATG, Mikko Aspa from DSO, Kelly Shaefer and the crazy dude from Demilich.

His pitched shifted style on the first album was good, but around Nocturnal they had to tune up his highs. He isn't a bad vocalist but compared to others like Jason from Akercocke or Travis from Cattle Decap, he's just a standard growler.
