Celestia, Aosoth, Thulcandra, Spektyr, Aldaaron, Neo Inferno 262... Blut Aus Nord... I feel like I'm missing out on many, but I'm lazy and I don't feel like sorting through my metalz... but there's a few for ya.

Pensees Nocturnes is great, as well.

They're a very simple band but I really enjoy their riffs and guitar work. I think a lot of their songs have an emotion to them, at least in the music and I feel it shows in a lot of their work, particularly the last two albums. I could see how you could find it boring live for sure, and on record I guess.

I enjoy them a lot, though.

I have Ars Moriendi from Lunar Aurora. Their latest offering was good but the drum machine was a big turn off for me. Any other albums worth getting...? And I know you guys have said they are all good... So which album should I get next?

After looking through my cd collection I found these bands to add to the previously mentioned french ones:
Hell Militia, Bael, The Arrival of Satan, VI, Obscurus Advocam, Animus Herilis, Anwynn, Armaggedon, Blackgod, Cebren-Khal (black/doom), Darvulia, De Silence et d'Ombre, Diapsiquir, Malhkebre, Mütiilation, Torgeist.

And german ones, hmm, do they have any except for Katharsis?
