I prefer Whisper Supremacy and ... And Then You'll Beg.

The singer on this track isn't Lord Worm, but the new guy (Matt McGachy).

Yes I know that... That's why I said " As soon as Lord Worm came back it was game over for me, and apparently for him once again ". As this new album has a new vocalist.

"[I'm] very disappointed to see how closed-minded some of our fans are. We started extreme metal and now we are doing it even more then before, extreme dynamically. When you listen to the full album, you will understand or not. Never has CRYPTOPSY been soo fast and agressive and at the same time generated feel in metal songs, wow. Not an achievement to you, it seems, but something extremely hard to do. If you get it or not, that's up to you, but people judge fast and I can guarantee that if you open your mind a little, you'll understand and be in awe. No change, then just vote for Bush again while you're at it. You know, [I'm] not an angry person by nature, but god, open your ears."

Yeah be an asshole to your fans that's a way to go.

I'm sorry but you know when you build a loyal fanbase... They have expectations. I'm not one to say change is a bad thing for a band as long as it's done right and you can still distinguish it's THAT band ( I personally and will always say In Flames is a great example of this ) but this new material sounds like madness. It just doesn't sound like Cryptopsy at all.

Someone pick up Flo after the band falls apart, please.

Alas, it's Flo's band now, no? He's the one that's taking them in this direction...

Shows you how much I know about Cryptopsy. Never really been a huge fan even though I have two albums and have seen them live ( which was an amazing show ).

He can pick himself up then. :P

Cryptopsy are one of my favourite bands, right up there with Agalloch, Necrophagist, and Nevermore, but this makes me want to vomit on them. I was hoping they would take a more ambient direction like the badass intro/outro/interludes they have on many of their albums. They're haunting, creepy, and they would be be great for an experimental album, but this is just shit. When did Cryptopsy turn into Incubus with hardcore breakdowns and growls?

The second song isn't bad, but it just doesn't have that Cryptopsy feel. It sounds more like... Amon Amarth.

I was really hoping someone would eventually try to defend these tracks but they are just that bad that not one single post supports them.

I can't believe he said that Cryptopsy invented extreme metal. Whoever said that's not full of himself, not at all.
