Fuck, that was somecrazy shit last night after the gig. Involving police officers, security guards in the cemetary and drunken brawling with ignorant mothafuckas. Shit, I think I have criminal record now....

Nah, me and my buddies were just hanging out there drinking and shit. Well, one of pissed to a bush there. Is that blasphemy enough? Since that place is off limits after 11.00pm some security guards came running after us and I was not fast enough... I'll probaply just get a fine or somethink later. I wont even talk about that fight, that was just stupid.....

Last shows i've seen...

Katatonia May 2004 at the foufounes électrique in Montreal
Nightwish in December 2004 at the Metropolis in Montreal
Jimmy Eat World Nov 2004 at the spectrum in Montreal

i'll be seing this year Sonata Arctica both in Montreal and Quebec city
and Soilwork/Dark Tranquillity in Quebec city.

The Katatonia show was pretty awesome, it was their first show ever in canada and the venue was pretty small so it was a very intimate show. The sound was great! Opening band was Daylight Dies which sounds a lot like old Katatonia so it was a great show overall!

Jimmy Eat World is a good pop band (shut up ! Metalhead ! ) way better in studio than live though... don't you agree ?

I knew someone would end up saying something like that.
Seriously dude METAL is not all there is in this world. Ocassionally
there are great rock artists out there. This just goes off showing how open minded you are.

Jimmy Eat World is a great band, the vocals are very emotional, followed by some excellent lyrics. The guitar playing is also much better than whatever you can here on the radio. He actually does some nice solos, not the extreme solo kind but never the less they sound great. I dare you listen their song 23.

If you don't like the band, fine. But respect the people who do.

Oh and one last thing... your "what are you doing on this website?" question is really pissing me off. I happen to like a variety of music and Metal is one of them so I have all the rights to go discuss on any forum I want including this one.

Jimmy Eat is great indeed. They are one of the best commercial acts out there IMO. Their studio sound is better than live, but there is so much energy when they are playing live that you just end up not caring. Jim Atkins is just great to watch, the guy sweats like a fountain from all the moving.
