Secrets of the Moon - Carved in Stigmata Wounds

German band with an interesting and varied album.... some moments remind me of Mayhem's Chimera. I think it's good, but that's about it, many people mentioned this one as album of the year (2004) but it's not even close to being that, just a good BM album, nothing more.

I agree, but on the other hand, I find Vismund Cygnus to be my favourite Mars Volta song so far. Definetly a strong CD imho.

I have the exact opposite views ! I think Deloused was a good album but I was feeling the band was still looking for a direction which they found on Frances the Mute.... I'll give this album 99/100 while Delouse was 95/100.... so two outsanding albums and a GREAT band !!!! :D
