I agree with you: The plight of the Indians was terrible and more attention should have been paid to it. That, however, doesn't make the Holocaust any less of a terrible occurence. For instance, the Rwandan genocide was terrible, but would you call it any less worthy of attention merely because only one million or so people died in it as opposed to the total of twelve million or so that died in the Holocaust? This figure includes Jews and non-Jews as well, by the way.

I think Skullthrone of Satan was pointing out a truth that the Holocaust has gotten far more attention than any other massacre in history. I don't think he was saying it was right or even ok in any regard, just that the Native America plight could get a bit more attention.

And Spielburg goes overboard with the, "our poor forsaken race" crap. He made Schlinder's list which was a fine statement on the Holocaust. But his upcoming big project is on the story of the 1972 Olympics in Munich when the Jewish team was attacked, and he is producing another film on the Ukranian Holocaust and he very nearly directed the Pianist. Anything bad that happened to the Jewish people he seemingly has to make a movie about and make another 20 million dollars on.

I'm willing to bet you wouldn't want to live as a poor person in America either, having to declare bankruptcy because you can't pay your medical bills..
