Yes but I don't think anyone actually explained their reasons. Just that they thought they were overrated. I may be wrong, I have a terrible memory. Anyways the new album is killer, I just don't see how someone that likes extreme metal could dislike it lol.
They're boring. Worse than boring; irritating.

I stated my reasons quite clearly before, not going into it again.
If you will care to answer, I'd like to hear why you do not like Funeral Mist. I can understand someone not liking DsO, like emperorblackdoom said, but Funeral Mist is pretty straightforward black metal with good riffs and a good atmosphere. I just don't get it.
The riffs are uninteresting, and it is non-stop-hyper-blasting.
Norsecore, is what it is, and you all know where I stand on that.
I like (but don't love) Funeral Mist. Then again, I really like Immortal too.
Drum heavy bm, whether it be DsO, Funeral Mist, or the bulk of Immortal discography, is never going to be as 'pure' as minimalist black metal; however, I still enjoy some of that style for its frozen death metal sound.
