Despise the gender? Oi!

Seriously ya'll; thrash is dead. There's little out there to review. Everything is either shitty to the point it doesn't deserve a review, or its really, really underground; but conservative to the point that the bands steal riffs and thus sound like another Slayer or what have you.

Conclusion? It's time to start broadening our horizons. Rattle the foundations and break the rules set in stone. Ladies and gentlemen, we need to start reviewing those other things. Those hideous things that make us so uncomfortable.

We must piss on the leg of conformity.

to get this back on topic i should listen to more thrash because i basically just listen to Dekapitator (Storm Before the Calm is my favourite thrash album i've heard), Overkill, Coroner, Artillery, and Demolition Hammer. i like bands that are angry and aggressive and stuff but still have melodic type guitar playing sometimes so yeah. i've heard and either didn't really like or wasn't super in love with Metallica, Possessed, Slayer, Ripping Corpse, Kreator, Sodom, Merciless Death, and Mekong Delta... maybe some others. i'm about to listen to Violator in like 5 minutes. Megadeth, Forbidden and Anacrusis are bands that are cool but not super great

in b4 stay out of thrash if u dun liek those

edit#4: didn't really like Violator

note to self: check out: Strikemaster, Evil Angel, Commando, Thornsick, Street Force, Rumpelstiltskin Grinder, Mass Extinction, Dr Livingdead, Menacer

You are officially worse than Hitler, you fencesitting mockery of man. :P

Edit: agreed, Scotto. Thrash gets plenty of time from other reviewers here, and if some band wants to reinvent the wheel and be original with it, well, I'm here for them.

i'm not a fence sitter! i'm anti-Pearl Jam because i don't really care about them, but not really aggressive anti-Pearl Jam because me not caring applies to like 30-40% of the reviews posted each week ^^!!!

Credibility? CREDIBILITY?! Bloody hell, Pete, have I not reviewed enough underground Metal for your liking? Is there some corner of the scene that lacks my attention in some shape, manner or form? Or is this just bitter eggs because your favourite Thrash album hasn't been reviewed, in which case you have no room to attack me for wanting to review something non-Thrash?

Metal Reviews is a fucking BASTION of the underground. It's all very well moaning about a review that HASN'T EVEN HAPPENED YET, but where were you when the underground was getting mentioned, where were your comments supporting my reviews of Thrash bands that, say, come from Yugoslavia and as such might well be considered part of the underground Thrash movement, if such a thing exists? Metal Reviews could review nothing but Limp Bizkit for the next month, giving it favourable scores and calling it 'the future of Metal as we know it', and still the site overall would have more credibility than you could build up in a lifetime.

Try reading what I say: I fully intend to continue to support the underground Metal scene. One. Review. Of. Something. Different. A. Week. Will. Not. Hurt. Anyone. Jesus, I don't remember this level of unrest when Misha was reviewing albums of minimalist piano, and only a blind, deaf chav retard with no ears, brains or eyebrows would consider Pearl Jam to be less Metal than minimalist piano. Is there an extra chromosome in your DNA, perhaps? Is that why you're entering such nonsense?

"Allright mate, been on metalreviews.com yet?"
"No I haven't yet, should I?"
"Yeah, it's a fucking BASTION for the underground!"
"OK then, I guess I should check it out!"

*a day passes*

"Metal Reviews is fucking awesome!"
"Oh cool, you went on it then? Find out about any good underground shit?"
"Yeah man, I've been listening to fucking PEARL JAM all night!"

Funny, but missing the point completely, as usual.

Let me try then...

I'm kicking off in very poorly worded posts when you want to review stuff that is fairly closely linked to metal. You're not happy because you see nothing wrong with this, Pete is close minded and worse injustices have been made in the past. Right?

All this shit about how you should review what you want blah blah blah. No. Adveser, you want to be a member of the Church of Satan-you're an idiot. I don't log onto a website reviewing specifically horror movies and support the idea for them to review fucking 1950s romance flicks because they had some loose links with modern horror cinema now, do I?

Broaden my horizons? I love music from all over the spectrum, but I live for metal. Well, I can say that as a hyperbole anyway. Don't give me that shit. You're not metalheads. You're casual metal listeners. Wait, posers. Fuck posers.

You can't be serious. You are the main reason people don't take metal seriously.

On the topic again, a good "old-school" thrash band from Spain, Angelus Apatrida.

Fucking hell, I must have a worldly influence then if I'M the reason.

Do you honestly care if people take metal seriously? It's not fucking opera.

I'd be curious to listen to Burn To Black's Mach 666. Sadly, the album's no longer available and I can't locate it on the web... By the way, it's the band from the man who did the Headbanger's movie...

If someone could help...

Metal_Head bastard is a gigantic faggot who should probably take a gun and shoot himself in each testicle to save us from him spreading his festering stupidity anymore.
