What is your favorite cd by them? I think they keep getting better with each CD myself but, vote in poll.

I've decided, my favorite is Follow the Reaper, closely followed by Hatebreeder.

I just love the kind of "prog" edge in Follow the Reaper.

Something Wild. Imo, the most heaviest, blackest, mature and atmospheric album by CoB.

20 different riffs in a row! Damn, they should've stayed in this state, not the speedy one in which they are currently playing (it's good, but doesn't give me the "deep" feeling like early CoB) :!:

Choosing was tough, because all their albums are different and great. Earlier albums were more dark and aggresive, while the later stuff is more 'fun'. I can't listen to songs like Bodom Beach Terror, Triple Corpse Hammerblow or You're Better Off Dead without grinning from ear to ear.

In the end I had to go with Follow the Reaper as it showcases the best of their guitar vs keyboard solos (such as the amazing second half of Kissing the Shadows) and also because its chock full of super catchy chorus' (though this is something that Hate Crew Deathroll also has in spades). It was definately a close one though.

I might just add that I'm quite suprised by the results so far; I expected Hatebreeder to becoming first, not last. I guess its still early though...

One of the reasons i voted hatecrew was because the vocals are better in that to i think, they're more deeper and stuff, I just overall keep thinking the vocals are better with each CD.

I really don't have a favorite because they're all so damn good. I voted for Something Wild for the sole reason that my favorite Bodom song is on that album.

I choose Follow the Reaper, closely followed by Hatebreeder. Follow the Reaper has my two favourite Bodom songs (Kissing the Shadows, Follow the Reaper) and is simply the one that I find myself playing the most. Something Wild and Hatebreeder are also incredible; they're just so chaotic and fast that they completely rule. Hate Crew Deathroll I find to be more sub par, but still with some great songs.

For all of us Bodom freaks, you should know that Alexi Laiho has released an album (or will release, I'm not sure) with a side project called Kylähullut. Let's see how that one comes out.....

Here's a link to their music video: http://www.kraklund.com/files/video/kyl ... aapiot.avi

And one song: http://koti.mbnet.fi/khullut/jajeesusei ... illaan.mp3

That video is especially grim and necro :P
