This is really good. Should be reviewed. I know this should be in the metalcore section, but I don't get a metalcore vibe at all from repeat listens. It sounds like somebody decided to blend Arch Enemy, Slayer, Amon Amarth, Machine Head, and Swansong era-Carcass into a blender, modernized the sound, and then spat out product into equal parts. The last song is pure Thrash. It's more Slayer than Slayer.

No, this shouldn't be in the metalcore section. They've never been metalcore.

This is a great album, though. A surprising amount of thrash leanings on this one, too, which is a nice surprise.

I've only ever heard their debut album which is 100% thrash, not particularly good but still thrash. Didn't know they were still around. I'll have to check them out again...

Actually, the first Living Sacrifice album is pretty bad-ass. Nothing groundbreaking, but a solid thrash album. Nonexistent is also really good, though more death metal than thrash. Inhabit is pretty much all death metal with rather shitty death-metal vocals.

After that, they went more modern. Some call it metalcore, but that's not quite accurate. More like groove metal, but much heavier.

And you still can't display YouTube videos here? Jesus.
