Anyway, back on the subject, Alex, what do you think of Vektor?

I was joking, of course. Our Metal God is gay, ffs... but still it makes me nauseous to see Steve flirting with Jesus.

On topic, only heard Black Future, and I must admit I'd problems getting into the album. I'm not a fan of the vocalist. I would like the band more if they had a frontman ala Agent Steel.

The music is not formulaic and tries to give Thrash a new approach, and I thank them for that. But still, there's must be like 20 thrash bands I like more than Vektor.

Will see if the new album changes my perception about them.

Took me a while to become accustomed to Disanto's "Vocals" as well.

I don't really listen to any black metal, so for me his shriek was very very foreign indeed. Still, the album is so fucking good that I kept listening to it for the riffage and solos. Eventually I got used to it, and now I even believe it adds to the music.

It stops the music from just having a sci-fi sound and makes it an evil sci-fi sound.

Plus they basically are the only band able to recapture the spirit of Voivod's thrash era, it's not plagiarim but I'm pretty sure they've listened them a lot.
