That's probably the most sensible thing anyone has said in this thread.

Is it still doucheable if you say 'brah' in an English accent?

all hail metallica.. s&m ... greatest symphonic thrash metal band ever ;P...
\just kidding... but still an album i would use to argue in favor of symphonic metal, though many would say that it's horrible. the live symphonic version of call of the ktulu is beautiful. Better than the original IMO.

I've realized that modern metal would not exist without the triple compination of Pantera, Sepultera, and Fear Factory. Witout the 90's, there would not be any new american metal.

Boy, you really gloss over all of the reasons the 90's were good for metal, instead you highlight three of the biggest draw backs.

Yeah. That's very true. But to be honest there's so few black metal or death metal albums I can think of from the 90's that I absolutely enjoy. Not to say I don't give props where they are due.

This is because you (generally) have bad taste.

Those guys look great. If you wanna see something REALLY gay, take a look at bands like Apocalyptica, Behemoth, In Flames, BFMV, Sonic Syndicate, and so on.....

Please educate us by posting more generic power metal bands so we can learn what metal is really about.

What the hell are you talking about? When did i post any generic power metal bands before?

In Flames have some really catchy songs, I never really had a problem with them, but I didn't love them either.
