Well thanks guys. I have a lot of music to check out now. And as far as the French scene is concerned, I do own 2 Deathspell Omega albums but would like to open an additional post asking for suggestions there once I add some Slavic BM to my collection.

PS - Ok Zad, I won't review Satanic Warmaster. Just checking.

The best french bm is Mutiilation - Remains of a Ruined, Dead, Cursed Soul.
Dub Buk as mentioned by V. are really good, but I'm not sure they are appropriate for review.

It is a contender for sure, but you have to really be able to overlook the horrible drum work; sounds like the dude has a head full of 'ludes.

Everything is played fairly sloppily on that album. If it was out of context with the rest of the instruments it might annoy me, but I don't mind it.

I suppose for balance, how about Jarost Marksa from Russia:

http://www.myspace.com/jarostmarksa

Quite chaotic and anarchic black metal (almost just mental noise at times) that I happen to like.

The vocals, can, on occasion, be bad.

Yeah, but the guitars are more dissonant than sloppy, which was probably intentional.
It's their best output, though and in the top three or five of LLN.

As for Dub Buk, they are pretty underrated, and aren't strictly a NSBM band, they are more nationalist / Slavic pagan with a small sprinkling of NS ideology, as far as I can see.

Most of the time they are ok but there are just moments where they become too cartoonish. Thinking of reviewing their EP... I emailed them asking to buy it but they were just like "nah send us your address and we'll post you a copy", which was jolly nice of them. From each according to his ability, etc...

They'd pay to ship it all the way from Russia?

I guess the excellent drumming and decent riffing distracted me from the failings in the vocals.

I don't mean to exagerrate the failings in the vocals. Most of the time they're good, it's just there was one moment when I was typing the original message about them. Yes, it's really good.

Well, I emailed Bellvm Gerite... so, I'm not actually sure, maybe the label is based nearer. It arrived suspiciously quickly to be from Russia. But they didn't even ask for postage costs, which was nice.

I didn't find their Rus Ponad Vse album to be that great but Idu Na Wy! Is awesome
