I was going to mentioned The Accused, but I take it you had them on your mind anyways, so I'll stick up for Discharge and Amebix since no-one ever shows them love.

Actually, I know very little about crossover... Just a few albums by DRI, Crumbsuckers and Accüsed but, so far, I find it to be good fun and want to know more.

I can't believe this hasn't been mentioned but.....

"Game Over" by NUCLEAR FUCKING ASSAULT!!!!!

Which is easily my favourite crossover album of all time. After that you still got lots of good shit though. Out of the stuff already mentioned I love MOD, SOD, DRI and Suicidal Tendencies, and then there's:

Everything else by Nuclear Assault '86 - '89

"Convicted" and "Monkey Talks" by Cryptic Slaughter.

"Natural Order" by Hellbastard

"Cause for Alarm" and "Liberty and Justice For..." by Agnostic Front

And for a more modern band (besides Municipal Waste), SSS (Short Sharp Shock) are awesome. They have two albums, the first is good, the second is killer.

M.O.D. - "U.S.A for M.O.D."

Suicidal Tendencies - "How Will I Laugh Tomorrow When I Can't Even Smile Today?"

...isn't either crossover or thrash but a damn good album anyway.
"Join the Army" was kind of crossovery-thrash but is inferior to "How Will...".

Fair enough, but I think it's up to debate.

A lot of people would classify it as crossover, I think.

Yeah, SOD is good, I love the irreverance.

But something I can't quite put my finger on makes Nuclear Assault the absolute kings of crossover for me. Especially in the '86 - '89 period. Great stuff.
