Anyone heard of this microgenre? Bands like Ice Bound Majesty, Black Vomit, Rape Rack... all playing a form of experimental black noise that actually sounds pleasant to the ears. Really good stuff, and I wholeheartedly reccomend it if you're bored of the orthodoxy. If you can find their material, of course.

Black Vomit's Jungle Death and Ice Bound Majesty's A Tomb To Erect. Rape Rack doesn't have any material of their own, other than a split with Black Vomit, which I haven't listened to yet.

I have absolutely no idea what you are talking about! My gf has a job interview in Sheffield on wednesday, if that's any help.

Sounds pretty interesting though... any youtube links or something?

Nope, none at all. Ice Bound Majesty's got a Myspace page, however.

I would upload some of their material myself, but my computer refuses to read any of my CDs.

I gave Ice Bound Majesty a try. It's not really something I get. It was only like 5 tracks and nothing really happened.
