New Canopy merch is available!

The new album, "Will and Perception" has been released and can be purchased from our website! T-shirts and a CD/T-shirt combo has also been added.

http://www.entercanopy.com

If you wish to order something, but don't want to use Paypal, please get in touch with me here and we can figure something out. Also, if you are planning on ordering more than one CD or T-shirt, send me a message and I'll get the price for you. (Combining orders will lower your shipping costs, yay!)

Aye, the low value of the dollar makes it quite a pain to try and sell anything, :(

If you get some buddies together that are interested, the shipping will become quite cheaper and the price per person will definatly drop.

Sorry :(

Yes, we have looked into it, but "Will and Perception"(2009) is under contract to Disconcert Music, so they would have to do it.

The new album, which I will do vocals for in the end of August, might be a different story, we shall see.

Man I wish I lived over there, I'm in suckville ATM. Just this morning around 2:24ish there was a drug-deal shoot-out only 30 yards from my room. I looked out the window and saw this guy hunched over in the street screaming in pain and everybody hauled ass outta there in their vehicles. Even the biker gang on the street corner isn't this bad, though they have their moments.

Nice little teaser video man, I love making of stuff. Do you plan on releasing any more showing the recording of vocals and guitars and whathaveyou? I'd love to see some solos if possible. I can't wait to get the new album man, I've been spinning Serene Catharsis for the past couple days getting excited for it.

Oh shiza! I didn't see that favorited video of Desultory!!! Dude, I never knew they made a music video! Thanks for that!

Glad you enjoyed it! :D It was from our pre-recording session that
we had. (We basically went away to a cabin for a week and just
started putting down ideas to tape). Now we've finished the real
recording but sadly enough there we didn't film anything.

:dio:

Yeah, Desultory are cool. They've reformed you know? I think I'll
be seeing them in December.

Ah well no biggie, at least we got a video. Out of curiosity how do you guys record, digital or analog? Both? Just curious is all, oh and any talk/plans of a music video?

I did not know about Desultory, that is great news. I recently let my friend borrow Into Eternity and he wont give it back the bastard. You guys are so fortunate to live over there, what with all the great culture, shows and scenery. Any news on them making a new album? Thanks for the intel! :dio:

All digital. There really isn't any advantage in recording analog I
think.

Yeah, we are planning on doing at least one video for
this album, our problem is mainly that we are so spread out in
the world right now. (Me in Holland, Jonatan in Singapore, Erik
in California and the other three in Stockholm). But Jonis and Erik
will be back in Sweden early 2010, so we should be able to swing
something I hope. Gives us some time to figure out exactly how
we want the video. And hopefully their stays abroad will perhaps
get us a foot into getting around to do some crazy gigs, :D

As for shows in Sweden, it's a huge myth. We might have a lot
of people playing in bands, but we rarely get those awesome
gigs that circle around Europe. It's just too expensive to drive
around in Sweden for shows. I can tell you, I've noticed a huge
difference since I moved down to Holland. Now I can go to shows
almost every weekend, perfect for me, I just wish Holland wasn't
such a shitty country in all other aspects.

Regarding Desultory, they have reformed, I would guess that they
will record new stuff too. I sure hope so, they did some pretty
cool stuff back in the days!

Wow that is spread out! Good luck with the eventual video then, and if you guys were to ever come to the states you can rest assured I'd be there. I'm really looking forward to the new album, any word on a release date?

Thanks! We're looking into going over to Canada/US but it's quite
a hassle, especially for smaller bands to get into the US to play. (I
heard that Hypocrisy had issues getting their visas approved!)

As for a release date on the new album, we have no date yet, but
my guess would be Spring 2010, hopefully it will come out faster than
the previous one did...
