Hey, my whole point is that CoF play Heavy Metal and I know the difference between them and real BM. I am not all Kvlt, I just like good stuff.... Going around say CoF don't play HM is just retarded.

My my we are sensitive about stealing music. If you can't afford it then you don't get it. You don't go out and steal a BMW because you can't afford it right? When I was kid 1 or 2 albums every couple of weeks was good send and I loved them. I still only buy maybe 6 to 10 a month depending on what mood I am in. I can understand the Turkey situation though, or maybe some guy in Vietnam or places like that where I know it is impossible to get stuff. I do order from the end and other places and get it shipped overseas to me though.

That is why everyone gets so jaded and shit on music or likes everything. If you saved up and bought 9 or 10 albums you really really wanted to a month insteald of downloading 5000 you would prob appreciate the music more or it least judge it harsher if your cash was behind it. Believe it or not you don't have to hear everything that comes out just so you can spout of on the internet about it.

However some bands are so rare you CANNOT feasibly buy their albums. For example the already mentioned Velvet Cacoon, whose only distributed album is Genevieve. Therefore, the only way i can listen to Velvet Cacoon is to download it.

Who seriously gives a fuck about Velvet Cacoon anyways, if you are so gay your albums can only be dowloaded whatever.

Anyways, of course if a band thinks it is cool you download their shit and you do that is fine............ That is like I said I don't need my TV, come take it, it is ok.

Looks guys, of course I draw the line at bands that only release like 10 copies, that are so fucking KVLT they do the 100 numbered edition LP's and shit, download that crap all you want, fuck them and their elitist ideals, they obviously don't care about money. But good Heavy Metal bands that get releasesed on labels, support them.....

I download older shit I owned on casseste or got stolen from me before so even I am somewhat guilty. But shit, having 5000 albums on your computer where everyone was downloaded is just wrong.

I basically agree with you on this whole issue. I have stopped downloading and haven't regularly been doing it for 3 years now. Having 300 new albums to listen to each month or so cheapens the overall experience for me. And also, Velvet Cacoon is not worthy of spending money on. I didn't think their black metalish stuff was very good, and they are a bunch of psycho-hippy anti-metal types anyhow.

1. listen to some Velvet Cacoon. Then tell me they are gay.

2. VC only released 33 copies of some albums. From now-ish, that is the only thing i am finding it acceptable to download, ultra kvlt ipossible to find we dont care about the money stuff. And demo/bootleg stuff that is not re-released or available.

3. @ Zad. hmm, think i better get the telescope to find some of those.....

I don't download a lot but I do admit songs are downloaded, just not albums. (well, occasionally albums) I prefer to support the bands and have the damn CD!

Genevieve sounds like one of them stuck a mic up his/her ass and farted 24/7, but sometimes when you're in the right mood it can take you to weird places, especially recommended before going to sleep. All their albums do that, How the last...(fuck it), Northsuite, Dextronaut etc...

You have to be on drugs to truly appreciate a Velvet Cacoon album. Preferably Dex, so you can be on the same plane as they were when they recorded it.
