First off we have Narcosis, who are more Grind than Death. MySpace and homepage (I think, they may have a new one under construction...). They once did a split with Melt Banana.

Then we have Nekkrosis, technical Death/Grind (Daniele, hope you're paying attention!). Homepage, they call themselves 'extreme sludgecore', but don't let the 'core' put you off. Soundclick, and those samples are rather old, the newer stuff is much better produced, and their homepage is under construction, so keep an eye on it.

And they're neither British nor start with 'N', but Exhale are pretty good. Very Nasal!

I saw Narcosis supporting Nasum before Miesko died. There were other bands that didn't begin with N on the bill, but we soon got rid of them. Don't you worry

Yes, they were OK. But the whole gig was relentless Relapse style grind onslaught, so even by Nasum at the end I was starting to wuss out and want to listen to something with melody.

After a while I automatically concentrate on the punkish nature of it. I can listen to Grind Finale, all the way through, without stopping! 8)

Is it just me, or do most bands beginning with N have similar names e.g. Neurosis, Neuraxis, Narcosis...
