Well yeah, I can see why you would like it more than other albums; it just doesn't quite work for me. For me, most Opeth songs are marvelous atmosheric acoustic pieces with distorted stuff inbetween for some variety, and not much more (some exceptions, of course). That's why I like Damnation so much: finally the Opeth I would like them to be. If only for one album.

Orchid isn't their worst, in my book. Deliverance is. The exact opposite of Damnation, featuring the 'worst' side of Opeth.

Hit. It's pretty cool to listen to on a rainy day.
