Well, I think Pale Folklore and the Mantle are fairly different albums. I prefer the more underground production of Pale Folklore, and I feel some of the Mantle's instrumentals drag a bit. Still, tracks like "I am the Wooden Doors" and "You Were but a Ghost in my Arms" make the Mantle an excellent album as well.

how come Agalloch threads always spring up in this forum instead of Doom and Gothic? :?

doom forum is so unfairly treated :cry:

That’s not true. I was going to post it there, but I wasn't 100% sure if that was the right spot for it. It kind of reminded me of "Autumn Aurora" so I posted it here. My bad, my newbishNESS is strong with these genres.
