That just goes to show metal is creeping back into mainstream favour ever so slightly. When your trendy MTV bands play solos and wear Iron Maiden t-shirts I guess it leads to some kids moving on to better things.

Cast your mind back a few years when the trendy bands were rapping and barely playing their guitars and Iced Earh charting would have been unthinkable. So, uh, I guess Trivium have some use? :huh:

7800 copies sold gets you in the top 100 ?
I wouldn't expect 7800 copies to be regarded as a huge success but I guess times are different.

Considering you can have classic metal bands, or even extremely popular metal bands, selling less than 1000 copies in the US in the first week, those are good sales figures for the US.

Regardless of the actual number of CD's that were sold I'm extremely proud that Iced Earth landed in the top 100 this week. Good for them. :dio:
